dEVILution (lyrics)

Whispers in your ears Like reflections in the mirrors

You think it’s your idea,

Puppet You think it’s your idea…

Memorize your ABC’s

Don’t use your words it spreads disease

You think it’s your idea, Puppet

You think it’s your idea

You’ve got two hands behind your back

But no ties are needed

You’ve got your eye glued to your phone

and you’ve been mistreated but you think

you’re living like a sovereign

free as a bee in a hive

Think you’re livin’ like a sovereign

but you’re just … bee in a hive

Whooooooooo…. Collective evolution!

Oh baby! Collective evolution!

You think it’s your idea, Puppet

*** La, La, Da Da Da…. (repeat)

You went and rewired your mind now

you’ve gone blind you’re a robot you

can’t see the forest for the trees you’re

a robot. But I can still see you human!

I'm the one who lives forever I wouldn’t

want to be on your side of the street

Not evolution it’s devolution, devaluation,

devastation Robot!

You think it’s your idea, Puppet!

You think it’s your idea!

You think it’s your idea, Puppet!

You think it’s your idea!

Babababa Ooh Mau Mau….

You’ve been fooled again! You’ve been fooled again! DUM DUM CHORUS… (repeat)

Oh well just a reminiscence and very chill vibe yet with a bounce...

This is the compilation and dramatizing of the tracks as they were meant to go together. We released them separately in case anyone wanted them but here you have all that additional sound and connection as this became one big track, or one big progression.

Zeph Daniel - Drums, Bass, Synth, Mixing, Production, Composition.

Micah Miller-Guitar

Collaboration with the amazing Micah Miller! We had a lot of fun with this. Enjoy!

Passion

I wander thru the storm

Attempt to capture it in a vial

To drip on my tongue at a leisurely will

I am empty

I am full

But I am never just so - so

Sometimes I forget the

Shape of it’s clouds

The taste of it’s warm and rain

Sometimes it is like the longest night

In a desert winter

But the storm comes

I can feel it

Tho’ it might not be today

And when it blows

I will fall right over

Like a weed left from the summer

I think I am just cellulose and air

But I’ve already fallen a thousand times

Again and again I shall be reborn

To wait, to wander thru, to live for the storm
