Har mazhab ko Rab ki talab kya hai

Uth ta hai sawaal zahn mein zurur

Gar insaniyat nahin to mazhab kya hai

Aaj dooriyan itni hain aapas mein kyon

Is hirs o hawas ka sabab kya hai

Har roz hain mukhatib aayene ke sab

Wohi shakl dikhe to ghazab kya hai

Khud parast insan bhoola hai aaj kyon

Unsiyat aur shai musaahib kya hai

Aawaragi hai fitrat insan ki ‘sahil’

Zameer hi batlaaye aakhir vaajib kya hai
