Father Cleophas Lungu is the General Secretary of Zambia Episcopal Conference and spokesperson for the Oasis forum which compromises the major church bodies and civil society organizations namely; the Council of Churches in  Zambia (CCZ), Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ), Zambia Episcopal  Conference (ZEC), Non-Governmental Organisations Coordinating Council  (NGOCC) and the Law Association of Zambia(LAZ).
