After an absence of almost eight years since the release of their first album in 2015, the musical group Hawa Dafi returns with new music, which is discussed by Busher Kanj Abu Saleh on the show Jwajem, hosted by Karim Benamor. Hawa Dafi is a musical group from the town of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, known for blending various cultural influences in their music. Tune in to hear about their latest project and how they continue to push the boundaries of musical fusion.

هوا دافي هي فرقة موسيقية من بلدة مجدل شمس في الجولان. يتميز أسلوب الموسيقى للفرقة بالمزج بين الثقافات المختلفة من الجولان.

▬ A propos de Jugulator ▬

Jugulator est un groupe de Thrash Metal Algérien formé par Ramzy Abbas en Aout 2014 sur les traces de Curse of Pharaoh qui est un projet antérieur actif entre 2006 et 2008.

Il est rejoint par Abderezak Yahimi à la batterie, lui-même musicien actif dans la scène rock et Metal depuis 1999 où il a joué avec de nombreux groupes comme The Rave o Blow, ainsi que Abdelwahab Merzouk à la guitare et Aidi nour El Islem a la basse qui fut remplacé par Ziri Abes en 2016.

Le groupe joue du THRASH and SPEED Metal, fortement influencé par la vague de Thrash metal US et Allemande des années 80.

Aujourd’hui le groupe compte à son actif un album nommé Ad Exitium sorti le 31 Mai 2019, ainsi qu’un deuxième album intitulé Under The Verdict sorti le 25 Novembre 2021.

On September 24th, Rivers of Nihil will release their fourth full-length, The Work, via Metal Blade Records .

Reading, Pennsylvania's Rivers Of Nihil have never fit neatly into a box, but with 2018's Where Owls Know My Name, they transcended all labels applied to them. Returning in 2021 with The Work, they have forged further into new territory, delivering an album that is as cerebral as it is visceral, and that covers a staggering sonic range, definitively placing them in a category of their own. Inarguably a very dense, heavy collection, The Work is far too dynamic to be considered a solely metal record, and there is a genuine warmth that shows through, particularly on "Wait" and the gorgeous "Maybe One Day," and the band have included far more clean vocals alongside the screaming that tears through many of the heavier tracks. Courtesy of their friend Zach Strouse, saxophone once again adds extra layers of atmosphere to the collection, utilizing baritone, soprano and alto saxes to great affect.

▬About A Pale Horse Named Death ▬

Music is our saviour in even the darkest of times. A PALE HORSE NAMED DEATH have demonstrated this unwavering truth throughout their first decade. Founded and led by multi-instrumentalist and Type O Negative alumnus SAL ABRUSCATO, the New York-based crew opened their creative account in 2011, with stunning debut album And Hell Will Follow Me: a slow-motion avalanche of crushing riffs, dark melodies and profound melancholy, with Abruscato’s heart-wrenching lyrics providing its songs with a deep emotional core.

In 2013, A Pale Horse Named Death released their second album, Lay My Soul To Waste. Musically opulent and even more punishing in sonic terms than its predecessor, it was widely acclaimed as the Brooklyn unit’s finest work to date. Innumerable live shows confirmed that the band were forging strong connections with a dedicated and passionate audience, and despite a six-year wait, the third APHND album emerged in 2019 to a uniformly positive response. Of course, the album in question - When The World Becomes Undone – was blessed with what now seems an eerily prophetic title, as within months of its release, the whole world locked down.
