Holly is current graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder where she is pursuing her MBA at the Leeds School of Business. In additional to being a full-time graduate student, Holly is a full-time entrepreneur and business owner. Holly is the founder of her business Free Takeout Ldt. Free Takeout is an apparel and accessories company that is about the inadvertent moments of human connection that you take away from each experience. While Free Takeout focuses on outdoor activities, the brand's true emphasis is that it's not what you're doing, but who you're with and the memories. Holly runs Free Takeout with her two partners, and the team of three are all heavily involved with everything that goes on within the company. Free Takeout not only wants to provide customers with clothing, but the company also wants to stress the importance of things like sustainability and community. It's really cool to see how Free Takeout went from just an idea to what it is now. Throughout this conversation, it was apparent how passionate Holly is about her company, business, and fashion. It's exciting to see what Holly has already accomplished, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her.
In this episode Holly talks about grad school, starting and being a business owner, sustainability, and much more!

Keith, or more commonly known as Deuce, is a musician, producer, and Detroit Pistons enthusiast. Music has always been in Keith's blood with his grandfather being Little Willie John, a R&B musician from the 1950s and 60s, and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Additionally, Keith's uncle performed as Stevie Wonder's lead background vocalist for over 30 years. Music was always something that Keith grew up around so it was only logical that he would dabble in it himself and turn that into his career. While music has always been a passion of Keith's, so has the Detroit Pistons. Keith has watched the Pistons all of his life and has seen their Championship years and the tougher more recent rebuilding years. Keith decided to combine his passions and that's when Downtown Deuce was born. Now Keith is using his musical talents and making anthems about the Detroit Pistons not only for the team, but for the city of Detroit. Keith's current hit, Destination Restoration, is a song about how this young Pistons team is looking to bring excitement and a winning culture back to Detroit. Destination Restoration has been a massive hit for all Pistons' fans. Before every Pistons home game, Destination Restoration can be heard throughout Little Caesars Arena. Keith has been a major beacon of light for the city of Detroit and I cannot wait to see what else is in store for him.
In this episode Keith talks about the city of Detroit, music, mindset, the Detroit Pistons, and much more!

Hanna first saw Rob Lawless on the Kelly Clarkson show and was instantly inspired by his story and project Rob's 10k Friends. This inspired Hanna to start her own project called Encounters with Hanna. Through her project, Hanna is on a mission to meet 100 strangers and spend an hour of sharing stories, learning about each other's lives, and connecting with each other. If you've been following the podcast for a while, you may recall that Rob is a friend of mine. Through Rob, Hanna and I were able to connect where I was her 34th encounter. It was a really cool experience to be a part of Hanna's project. Whether it was with our encounter, or any of her encounters, after the conversation Hanna writes about the experience. Hanna has even gotten some of her writing published by a local website in Ethiopia. While Hanna had her encounters with both Rob and me virtually, Hanna primarily has her encounters at local cafes or parks in her home country of Ethiopia. Through our conversations it was insightful and a pleasure to learn a bit about Ethiopian culture and Hanna's background. Ultimately, Hanna wants to continue to step out of her comfort zone and connect with strangers. After Hanna has her 100th encounter, she's unsure on whether she'll continue with the project or pivot to something new. Either way, Hanna plans on writing a book about her encounters and what she learned from her project. It's really exciting to see how far along Hanna's project has come and I cannot wait to see where it continues to take her.
In this episode Hanna talks about Encounters with Hanna, connecting with strangers, Ethiopian Culture, and much more!

Jake is a fellow Central Michigan University graduate and currently works as a Wealth Management Client Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Ever since I first met Jake, I could tell that he had a massive passion for investing, so it only seems natural that he has pursued a professional career that involves investing, investment banking, and assisting with personal financial assets. Jake is one of the most professional, kind, and well-rounded individuals that I have met. I've always respected and admired the way that Jake conducts himself and how ambitious he is. In addition to his professional passions, Jake has many other personal passions as well. Jake is an avid runner and recently completed his first marathon in Chicago. One of Jake's life goals is to accomplish the Abbott World Marathon Majors. To accomplish this feat, a runner has to complete a marathon in Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York. As of right now, Jake just has Chicago under his belt, but I know that he has what it takes to complete the remaining five. Additionally, Jake is a foodie and enjoys wine. Jake has went as far to get his Level One Wine Certification as well. Jake has accomplished a lot of great things and I know that this is just the start for him.
