In this Bible study, we look at Jesus’ encounters with those who sought to trap Him with difficult and dishonest questions. Jesus responds with wisdom and truth, shifting the focus from earthly distractions to what truly matters: giving ourselves fully to God and living for His Kingdom.We also explore Jesus’ teaching on the resurrection and the reality of eternal life. As we examine these conversations, we’re challenged to consider what may be distracting us from the Lord, where our understanding may need correction, and whether we are faithfully using our lives and gifts to serve Him.

In this Bible study, we look at Jesus’ parable of the wedding feast and the invitation God extends to all people. We explore what it means to respond to God’s call rather than ignore it or allow the distractions of life to take priority.

We also examine the importance of being “properly dressed” for the wedding feast—a picture of our need for the righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ. We cannot make ourselves righteous; we must receive what Christ has freely provided and allow His transforming work to shape the way we live.

In this Bible study through Joshua 3–4, we are reminded of the miraculous work God has done for His people. Just as God made a way for Israel to cross the Jordan River on dry ground, He has made a way for us through Jesus Christ. We could never save ourselves, but Jesus took our sin, paid the price we deserved, and rose again so that we could be forgiven and made new.Joshua 4:9 gives us a powerful picture of remembering what God has done. The twelve stones placed in the Jordan served as a memorial of God's faithfulness—even when they could no longer be seen, God still knew they were there. In the same way, we may sometimes lose sight of God's work in our lives, but He never forgets. Remember what He has done, and never forget that He is faithful.

In Matthew 21:33-46, Jesus tells the parable of the wicked vine-growers—a powerful warning to the religious leaders who had rejected God’s messengers and were now preparing to reject and kill His Son. In this study, we examine how the vineyard represents God’s kingdom, how the vine-growers reveal the danger of pride and religious hypocrisy, and why Jesus identifies Himself as the rejected stone who becomes the cornerstone.This passage also confronts us with an important question: What will we do with Jesus? Once we hear the Gospel, we can’t simply go back to life as though we never heard it. For the believer, this study is a reminder to take seriously the kingdom God has entrusted to us, bear fruit, and faithfully share the Gospel. For those who have not yet received Christ, it is an invitation to stop rejecting the Son and receive the salvation He offers.

In Matthew 21:28-32, Jesus uses the parable of two sons to expose the difference between saying the right things and actually living in obedience to God. Through His confrontation with the religious leaders, we’re challenged to examine whether our lives truly reflect what we claim to believe.

But this study is also a reminder to keep believing—not only in God’s call to repentance and holiness, but also in His grace and forgiveness when we fall short. We’ll look at the danger of rejecting God’s truth in favor of our own, and why we must continue trusting the work He has begun in us.

In Matthew 21:23-27, Jesus confronts the religious leaders who question His authority, exposing their unwillingness to deal with what God had already revealed to them. This passage challenges us to consider whether we’re doing the same—asking God for answers while ignoring what He has already spoken through His Word.

We’ll also examine how our perception of Jesus can change over time. What happens when the Savior we once loved and followed becomes an inconvenience because He starts challenging the things we don’t want to give up? This study is a call to examine our hearts, submit ourselves fully to the Lord, and never lose our awe and wonder of Jesus.

In Matthew 21:20-22, Jesus teaches His disciples about the power of faith-filled prayer. But what does He mean when He says that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive? In this study, we look at prayer through the lens of the whole of Scripture and learn what it means to truly pray in faith.

We’ll see why faith isn’t faith in our faith, but faith in God; why we should boldly and persistently bring our requests before Him; and how we can trust Him when His answer is “no.” Whatever mountain you’re facing, GO AFTER IT in prayer—but ultimately, trust the One who knows what’s best.
