Each of us is here today, in this worship service, because God knew us and chose us for adoption by His own sovereign will, before creation. Thank God daily that He, by His Holy Spirit, has sealed us, His church, the Bride of Christ, for eternal life with Him in His Kingdom—not because we deserved it, but because of His love, mercy, and grace. Amen! This morning, we are going to look at an event that had to happen: a disciple of Jesus turned traitor, Judas Iscariot, the man who betrayed Jesus and was responsible for His arrest, resulting in false trials, scourging, and crucifixion. Amen!
