Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy that deals with the first principles of things, including abstract concepts such as being, knowing, substance, cause, identity, time, and space. Ontology is sometimes referred to as the science of being and belongs to the major branch of philosophy that is metaphysics. In this episode of Zephyr we are doing our end of the month question and answer session and dealing with some of the hardest philosophical questions pertaining to life, God and religion i:e Why does God allow bad things to happen to the most innocent amongst us. And how should students and those who teach metaphysics address so called atheist. Atheism, in the broadest sense, is an absence of belief in the existence of deities. Less broadly, atheism is a rejection of the belief that any deities exist. In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.
