Emily walks us through her early experiences with money, entrepreneurship, and what she learned becoming financially independent at 16. Her journey with student and medical debt ultimately led her to make a plan to take control - and investing entered the discussion. As someone working towards being work optional by 35, Emily talks us through how she picked her number and what you might consider when picking yours.

Basia Pozin works in Retail Banking and is the founder of Money Matters, a financial literacy program teaching kids, teens and young adults the basics of personal finance.  Basia launched Money Matters after noticing gaps in basic financial knowledge among the average Canadian.  On today's episode Basia talks about the classes she teaches, the questions she gets from her students as well as some great advice on where to start with your money.
