On today's Zero Limits Podcast host Matty Morris chats with Zac Rolfe former infantry soldier from the 1st Battalion Royal Australian Regiment and Northern Territory Police Officer.

In 2010 he enlisted in the Australian Army, serving in Afghanistan with the 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. After being discharged in 2015, he applied tp be a cop and was accepted by the Northern Territory force, enrolling at the academy in Darwin in May 2016. Rolfe graduated as dux of his squad and was posted to Alice Springs in Central Australia – his first preference. In December 2016, during his first week with the NT Police, he rescued two tourists from flood waters near Alice Springs, for which he and a colleague were awarded the Bravery Medal in 2018. He joined the Alice Springs Immediate Response Team (IRT) in November 2017.

Kumanjayi Walker was a 19-year-old violent offender with history of offences who was shot by former police officer Zachary Rolfe in November 2019 during an attempted arrest in Yuendumu, Northern Territory after Walker had stabbed Rolfe with scissors and threatened to kill the officers. Four days after the incident Zac was charged with murder with no support from the NT government and his commanders however in 2022 was acquitted of murder charges.

Harry Moffitt served in the Australian Defence Force for almost thirty years, most of which was spent with Australia's Special Air Service Regiment as a Team Commander and Team Specialist. He has served in eleven active deployments mostly to Afghanistan fighting the war on terror, During one of his deployments to Afghanistan he was involved in an incident being in the same vehicle that was hit by an IED that killed Signaller McCarthy. He's a registered psychologist and runs a human performance consultancy, Stotan Group, working with sports teams, the military and corporate world. Growing up on the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne with his older brother Josh, and after leaving school with a couple of years on the workforce Alex decided to join the Victorian police. After completing the application and mandatory testing, Alex joined the Victorian Police in 2016 with aspirations of joining the highway patrol unit. In 2019 his older brother Josh Prestney also joined the Victorian Police after getting stories from Alex on the life in the force. However on April 22, 2020 Alex’s  28-year-old brother Josh and his colleagues Lynette Taylor, Kevin King and Glen Humphris were killed on Melbourne’s Eastern Freeway after they were hit by a truck with the driver under the influence of illicit substances during a traffic stop of another offender on illicit subtances on April 22, 2020.

On today's Zero Limits Podcast host Matty Morris chats with Hamish Maclachlan New Zealand SAS and Australian SASR

Hamish enlisted into the NZ defence force in 1997 as an infantry soldier posting to 2/1 RNZIR. Hamish deployed twice to East Timor as an infantry soldier. During this deployment in Timor he encountered the NZ SAS which led to him attempting and completing SAS selection and training cycle and was badged in 2003. In 2004 he deployed to Afghanistan and during this rotation he was there on the day and witnessed when Willie Apiata VC displayed acts of gallantry which led to be long awarded the Victoria Cross.

After a joint training exercise with the Australian SASR Hamish decided in 2008  transferred across to the Australian SASR and deploying on multiple Afghanistan combat rotations fighting the insurgency. During one rotation he was part of the famous battles in Gizab and Tizak both very successful SASR operations. Whilst in Tizak Hamish again witnessed actions by Ben Roberts Smith that led to being awarded the Victoria Cross.

After leaving school Matt joined the Army reserves and into the Royal Australian Artillery corps. In 2007 Matt was accepted into the NSW Police and headed to the academy in 2008. Matt spent his career as a general duties officer and later on is his career moved into the Raptor task force.

On today's Zero Limits Podcast I chat with “Mort” former United States Marine Corp veteran and Ukraine Foreign Fighter.

Before heading over to the Ukraine Mort spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corps however decided in 2024 to go to the Ukraine and join the International Foreign Legion. As described in Taz’s podcast Mort was alongside Taz when they encountered a Russian position whilst trying to retrieve a EW system. 

Mort along with Tax were on a task where they encountered 10-12 Russian soldiers, to initiate the contact Mort was shot twice in the leg and Taz was shot 3 times. They had to do a fighting withdrawal with Taz dragging Mort roughly 500m with morts fighting from the ground after applying a TQ and at one point accepting that they were out numbered, out gunned and likely were going to get killed Mort started to destroy sensitive equipment.

On todays Zero Limits Podcast I chat with “TAZ” civilian chippy turned Ukraine Foreign Fighter. 

Growing up in a small Aussie country town and after finishing high school Taz like most moved into the carpenter role aka chippy finishing his apprenticeship and during this time he also wanted to join the defence however was denied. After the war in Ukraine kicked off Taz went to the Ukraine to assist in rebuilding towns using his trade however after spending time in country he felt the need to assist further. Taz joined the International legion with no prior military experience and spent a couple of months in training learning the basics of being a soldier. On today's Zero Limits Podcast I chat with “Syd” aka Instagram page Aussie Degenerate former 7RAR and current Ukraine Foreign Fighter .

“Syd” enlisted into the Australian Army as an infantry soldier and after completing basic and infantry training he was posted to the 7RAR.

In 2023 “Syd” headed to the Ukraine and assist the fight against the Russian invasion. During this time he Joined DIU legion GUR under Med Team Alpha and currently part of the drone attack capability unit.

Jordan enlisted in the New Zealand defence force in 2007 serving in the 1st Battalion Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment. During his infantry career Jordan deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 as part of the ISAF. In 2014 Jordan attempted selection for the SAS and was selected for the Commando pipeline. In 2018 Jordan can up with the concept for Warfighter Athletic a fitness and lifestyle inspired brand to better individuals. In 2020 Jordan ended his career in the commandos spending the last couple of years conducting grey role operations before moving into a fulltime role at Warfighter Athletic.
