One day a farmer was riding his horse drawn wagon through a trail in the woods out in rural Poland. Soon he would have a strange encounter involving green faced men wearing tight black suits and a hovering rectangular craft. While the Ufologists believed his story, many would claim there was something else at play. The police would say that this grandpa simply fell asleep and dreamed up the whole encounter. A well known author would claim that these were all false memories implanted in an elaborate revenge scheme. Lets take a look into this farmers story and all the possible explanations.

A classic encounter story, this strange case in Villa Santina, Italy has been known about for decades. What many have heard is that while an artist, Luigi Rapuzzi, was painting a mountain landscape, a red disk flew down right in front of him. Two creatures then exited the bizarre object before using some type of advance technology to paralyze him. They then took his painting before entering their craft and flying away. Unidentified Flying Objects seemed to be everywhere in Virginia back in late 1964 and early 1965. Many different people would make reports, with these ranging from lights in the sky to aliens walking around an Archery range. But these incidents all seemed to start after one man had very close encounter with a very bizarre looking flying craft just 4 days before Christmas. Back in 1957, one Brazilian farmer would a number of strange experiences before coming down with a mysterious illness. He would first just see weird bright lights through the windows while getting ready for bed one night. But soon he would be trying to catch the lights, chasing them around his farm. Before long a UFO would fly in, disabling his tractor before landing right in front of him. Four creatures would exit the odd machine, running over and grabbing hold of him. They dragged him aboard their ship where they would they would strip him, smear a strange liquid on him, then gas him, before putting him in a room with only a bed. After a while alone, the most beautiful woman he's ever seen walks in the room, completely naked just like him. This is when his close encounter became much, much closer.

Possibly one of the first found footage films, the Alien Abduction Incident at Lake County follows the McPherson family as they get ready for Thanksgiving dinner. However it doesn't take long for things to start to get quite strange and terrifying. After going outside to investigate a power outage the 3 brothers of the family would make a shocking discovery. On April 24, 1964, Lonnie Zamora a policeman in a small town out in New Mexico would make a sighting that would change his life. That day shortly after stating his shift he would take off after a speeding car. Before he could even pull it over he heard a loud roar, looking over to see what he thought was a flaming car accident in distance. Thinking that some one might be in need of help he abandoned the speeding car, heading straight towards all of the commotion. Upon arriving he would see two human looking figures in white and a large egg-shaped object with legs extending from the base. Shocked and frighted he would watch as the craft started to rise up before shooting off across the sky.
Soon after this sighting half the police force would be out there checking out the scene and taking pictures of possible evidence. With Zamora seeming to be a credible and honest person many government agencies as well as High ranking officials would study this encounter looking for every possible explanation for what happened in Socorro. Now many years later were able to go back and look at all of the Declassified files containing sketches and reports from the investigations. Showing that even project blue book would get involved, with both Dr. J Allen Hynek and the head of the organization Major Quintanilla personally going out to the sight itself.

Back on September 4th 1964, Donald Shrum and two of his friends decided to take a weekend to go bow hunting down in Tahoe National Forest near the town of Cisco Grove. They would make a camp site and then each go their separate ways all looking for deer. After loosing track of his friends, Donald would decide to spend the night in a tree, safely away from predators. After just a couple hours of rest a strange light zigzagging through the tops of the trees would grab his attention. Shortly after this he would observe 2 humanoids in metallic suits walking and examining plant life in the nearby area. 
 Thinking he had gone unnoticed Donald would watch this bizarre event for several minutes before the two entities were joined by a 3rd figure, which to him appeared to some kind of robot. The three creatures would then approach the tree and then start shaking it in an attempt to dislodge him. When this didn't work the robot would open its mouth and releasing a cloud of gas that rendered Donald unconscious. He would then be awoken by the two humanoid aliens climbing the tree trying to get to him. He would retaliate but the robot would once again come back to spry this gas at him knocking him out for the second time. These events would go on for the next 12 hours as Donald fought for his life while falling in and out of consciousness.

Often called the Roswell of Poland, Gdunia is a port town on the north end of the country. Although not quite as famous as its counter part in the US, there was a very similar occurrence here in 1959. Back then in still soviet controlled Poland several people would report seeing a glowing light falling from the sky, crashing into the icy waters near the docks. Then not too long after this a strange humanoid being would be found dragging it's burned and battered body onto the sandy beach. In a small town located in the northwest region of Turkey, one man named Yalcin Yalam would capture an unidentified object on camera on 23 separate occasions. Working as a night guard in the small vacation village of Kumburgaz he would often be outside during the dark morning hours. Near the shore of the Marmara sea he would watch the sky over the course of 3 summers, not just getting fleeting glaces he would often film these objects for several minutes. He would see more that just an object, some even claim to be able to see alien within some of these clips. There would also be multiple eyewitnesses as well as interviews of many of these people making it one of the more well documented UFO cases. 
  His videos were first released to the SIRIUS UFO group run by the researcher Haktan Akdogan. When said to be genuine they would soon be passed to mainstream media making it into the news not just in Turkey but across the world as well. Not long after they would then be sent to multiple official organizations for study, including Turkeys National Council for the Study of Science and Technology. Not one organization was able to find any evidence a hoax or tampering, classifying it as a true unidentified anomalous phenomenon  or UAP. Even today over 15 years later no one has been able to give a good explanation of what caused these sightings.
