The 7th episode of “Excellence Academy” was honoured to have renowned actress and writer Dr Brigitte Lin Ching-hsia as guest speaker. Speaking on the topic “Wonders in Every Step; Splendors at Every Turn”, Dr Lin shared her experiences and insights across different stages of life. With a calm and fearless demeanor, along with a serene and composed state of mind, she gracefully recounted her journey of exploring endless possibilities and capturing every moving scenery along the way.

The 6th episode of “Excellence Academy” honourably invites Professor Kwan Mei Po as our guest. As a Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences, as well as the Director of the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science at CUHK and Head of Chung Chi College, Professor Kwan has experienced many scientific breakthroughs in recent years, especially on the latest CUHK satellite project under her leadership as Principal Scientist.

Successfully launched this February, what kindsof advanced technologies were used in the world’s first artificial intelligence-powered scientific satellite? And why is it closely related to the living environment, residents’ lives and safety, and even social equity?

第五集「至善學堂」請來新近獲得中大博文教學獎，那打素護理學院助理教授暨崇基學院學生輔導長吳碩南教授Marques作嘉賓。Marques認為，護理的本質是照顧他人，因此除了臨床知識與技巧，護理人員還應察覺和懂得憐憫。

Marques更從他個人立志、家庭經歷，以至在中大和崇基的教學和輔導工作為例，解釋憐憫他人和自我憐憫的重要。憐憫並非軟弱，而是以柔及剛、因柔而剛的生命修為。

The 5th episode of “Excellence Academy” features Professor Marques Ng, Assistant Professor of The Nethersole School of Nursing and an awardee of the CUHK University Education Award 2026, as our guest. Marques believes that the core nature of nursing is to take care of others, and nursing staff should be aware of and understand the meaning of compassion.

Sharing his aspiration and family experience, as well as his teaching and counselling at CUHK and Chung Chi, Marques explained the importance of being compassionate – both to others and to oneself. Being compassionate is not a form of weakness. Conversely, it is a cultivation on one’s strength.
