如果你成功说服了某人，或两人成功地达成了共识：I succeeded in talking him around!我成功地说服了他。这里，Talk sb. around  是说服某人的意思。

 

Get through指你曾经致电某人，而没有被接听成功。下次你需要让他知晓此事，可说：我上周给你打电话，但没有被接通。
