  • 013. How to Own Your Story and Produce a Life You Love with Sheri Salata
For this episode I got to sit down with THE Sheri Salata. Sheri is the co creator of The Pillar Life, author of The Beautiful No, and former co-president of Harpo Studios and the Oprah Winfrey Network. She was also the executive producer of the The Oprah Winfrey Show. While her list of accolades is long, Sheri tends to define herself by the simple title that has most defined her life: storyteller. During our conversation, I got to hear Sheri’s story first-hand, from her days with Oprah through the personal reckoning that became the inspiration for her book, and what her life looks like now. In her book and in this interview, Sheri gracefully grapples with issues like honoring your body, knowing when it’s time to explore your own passions, and bravely embracing a wholehearted life. By the end of the episode, I was so moved by Sheri’s wisdom that I kind of lost my cool and sounded like a blubbering idiot. It really was a dream-come-true experience getting to talk to her.

  • 012. Lifelong, Honest Entrepreneurship with Real Housewife Jill Zarin
In this episode of the Zimmerman Podcast, I interviewed the amazing Jill Zarin. You might know her from her Real Housewives of New York fame, but she’s also a mom and a multi-passionate business-woman, with a handful of titles to her name, including author, speaker, Vice President of Jockey Hosiery, marketing consultant at her late husband’s company Zarin Fabric Warehouse, and owner of Jill Zarin rugs.
If you know me, you know I’m a total Real Housewives fan-- it’s 100% my guilty pleasure-- so I’m so excited I got to chat with Jill! I gave a warm Zimmerman welcome to THE Jill Zarin.

  • 010. You Can't Get Where You're Going Without a Map: Annual Planning with Tawnya, Le Grande Courtage
I had such a blast chatting with Tawnya Falkner, the creator of Le Grand Courtage sparkling wines. While there’s obvious crossover between myself in the wedding industry and Tawnya in sparkling wine, today Tawnya and I focus more on the overlap we have in creating powerful brands, turning passion projects into actual monetized businesses, reverse engineering creative ideas, and how to define your destination so you can plan your journey.
Tawnya has so much wisdom to share, whether you’re an entrepreneur or just someone trying to create an intentional life, this episode is a can’t miss for you!

  • 008. Entrepreneurship, Naturally with Carly Stein
Beekeeper’s Naturals founder and CEO, Carly Stein is on the podcast today! Carly’s mission is to improve the health of humans and bees alike, which is why she left her job on the trading floor at Goldman Sachs to launch Beekeeper’s Naturals full-time in 2016.
Carly is as passionate about her products as she is about bees themselves and uses her company’s platform to make a difference and raise awareness for the bee cause. Carly was recently recognized as a game-changing entrepreneur on the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
So yes, she’s a pretty big deal.
Today, Carly and I talk about how she created Beekeeper’s Naturals after having her life and health transformed by a bee-based product, how to believe in yourself when your friends and family think your business dreams are a little wacky, and how you can start a product-based business from scratch.
