As our church enters a new spiritual season we can expect to see life, and we should see life. In this second part to the message of "Spring has Sprung", Pastor Phil looks again at the story of the Shunammite women and the miracle of her son being raised from the dead. Through this story we learn 'Proximity that leads to intimacy releases the breath of life.'

In a culture that is so over stimulated with the getting the latest and greatest we run the risk of seeking our Joy in everything that the world has to offer. Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) Reminds us that the fullness of our Joy is found in his presence. That at the His right hand are pleasures forever more. Where do you find your Joy?

The Apostle Paul exhorts us to always be joyful, but is this possible with the many pressures of life? In his letter to Philippi, Paul says he forsakes all things for the joy of knowing Jesus. Ps Phil says, "If we don't find our joy in Jesus we're destined for life-long disappointment."

Discover the tension in knowing God as King and also as Father. The wrestle between the awe and reverence that is demanded when we stand in front of our Creator, and the simultaneous invitation to sit on His knee and know Him as Papa. Knowing both the fear of the Lord as deeply and as beautifully as knowing the unconditional love that He is.

What is the role of the law in our lives? Didn't Jesus deal with that? We see people who are legalistic and people who rely on grace, but what is the biblical stance we are to take in relation to the law, or more specifically the commands of scripture?

What separated the wise man from the foolish man in Matthew 7: 24 -27 was the application of Gods word. We don't apply what we don't know, we don't know what we haven't learnt, what haven't learnt what we don't study and we don't study what we don't value and sometimes we don't value what we don't understand. Seeing God through the scriptures will help us see God in our lives as we read for relationship and not regulation.
