This week Pastor Chris starts a new series centered on the gospel of Mark. He reminds us of the challenge put before all Christians to lay down their lives and follow Jesus. In this introduction message he focuses on the crucial step of preparing the way of the Lord so that we may see Jesus more clearly. 

This week's message is brought to us by a guest speaker, Pastor Joe Jansen who is the United States Ministry Director of Elim Fellowship. The word this week asks us the question "Is how you see things the problem?" and challenges us to start seeing through these times of stress, anxiety and fear with the eyes of God. 

When we press through unexpected times is our first response either prayer to our Lord or praise of our Lord. This week we are challenged to bring it back to the basics and remember that He should be our first response in everything; in either prayer for help or praise for thanks. 

This special episode is from October of 2019. Last fall our leadership had recently had a meeting of prayer and asking for God's vision for Zion Fellowship. That following Sunday they shared it with the church. 10 months later we are seeing how this vision is being fulfilled. God is so faithful and time and time again He proves that if we as a people listen and are obedient He will rain His blessings upon us!
