December | Swirl

The Rat New Moon Nov 30th lingers the first weeks of December. We won’t see another lunar event until the Horse Full Moon Dec 15th. What’s in the Stars for December? We start this month in the Astro calendar with a yawning gap I call the blue abyss.

Mercury’s retrograde in the Rat until mid month. Lady Luck Venus conjuncts Pluto at Zero in the Tiger. Pluto is now in the Tiger for 19 years. The last time Pluto transited the Tiger (Aquarius) in 1778 we had an American Revolution raging and Cook landed in Hawaii.

Mars recently entered the Monkey but he won’t get far going retrograde on Dec 6th. We end the year with a twist in the celestial saga. Shadows grow longer as we move toward the Solstice. With Mercury and Mars both retrograde; nostalgia tugs the heart this holiday season.

Flying Stars | December 2024

In Feng Shui the Monthly Stars change Dec 4th. The Peach Blossom 4 Star flies to the Heart Center Palace making this a season for Love that’s shiny and bright! The Lucky Ming Tang flies South to East and the Lucky Sum of Ten lands in the North for great career moves.

But patterns look topsy turvy with the Fighting Star 3 in the Southeast and the Icky Yellow 5 in the Northwest; upsetting the apple-cart in the marketplace. But Love remains a bright spot this year with the Miracle Love and Money 1 Star in the Southwest direction for true-romance.

An auspicious holiday decor will focus around a floral centerpiece to showcase fire and ice as a theme. Retro color vibes with red and white and green come together with frosty notes and dramatic tones to enhance good fortunes under the tree.

Venus Tiger | conjunct Pluto

On December 6th the Venus and Pluto conjunction will reach a peak for the 2nd time this year at Zero degrees. A zero point is a wild card, a cosmic egg. This rare celestial gem has superb prospects. It empowers all of us to boldly assert our visionary ideals

It’s a perfect time to rekindle connections and mend fences. Last February Venus started the year at Zero with Pluto in the Tiger. On Dec 7th Venus is right back where she started. This happened due to Pluto’s eccentricities and Venus didn’t go retrograde this last, year.

It might feel funky at first to be back at ground zero -again. Take your time and know that this happenstance is designed to put us on a different path for some greater good and we just don’t see yet. Venus is transformative, majestic and sublime. Let the evolution begin.

Monkey | Mars Retrograde

December 6th Mars retrogrades in the Monkey until Feb 24th, 2025. Mars will roll all the way back into the Goat. In retrograde fashion Mars is hell-bent and a bit of a Trickster, a fly-in-the-ointment. In the Monkey Mars retrograde brings cultural throw backs.

This elliptic back-bend slows the tempo taking us on a detour. The hasty Mars retreat can be a blessing. Monkey sits Southwest on the compass presiding over Relationships and spins back to the Goat to heat-up the cosmic Love Zone. Monkey is the talent in the Zodiac.

And Goat is a party animal. In legends long-past Monkey becomes King. In the garden of the Moon Goddess Monkey stole a peach to became immortal! Monkey is ambitious and clever. With Mars retro in the Monkey keep your eyes peeled for keen insights and flashes of genius.

Neptune Hare | Direct

A spell is broken on December 7th as chickens come home to roost when gas giant Neptune awakes from his great nap. Lord Neptune is the higher octave of love. He carries a magical Trident; a divine instrument. Neptune fell asleep in the Hare last summer on July 7th.

Revelations quickly arrive when the metaphorical curtain is pulled back. Neptune’s return lifts a veil. Deep probes see below the surface. Neptune leaves the Hare in 2025 but he will return the same place next year for a cosmic backsplash. Sure to be filled with drama and intrigue.

Neptune lives in his own signature bliss. Some call it an illusion. After a retro period the sands of time come back online with revealing data. And love rocks the boat again, this time next year. Hare is a hospitality sign and Neptune is a harmonizer. This story isn’t over yet.

Horse | Full Moon

On Sunday December 15th at 01:02 AM PST we have a Full Moon in the Horse sign. Full Moons bring things to completion even-if they are half-baked or with loose ends. As a result something could overshoot it’s mark. This Moon is a procession that runs away with itself.

Due to the chart alignments there’s underlying uncertainly with movement in the crown. Will there be a changing of the guard or a bigger let-down? We’ll soon see how the contrasting elements of this moon chart plays out. On a high note our Lunar Lady has loads of mystique.

As all Full Moon’s go this one reaches it’s peak bringing things to a close. This Moon has a lucky inheritance built-in with keys to the castle and reversals of fortunes. Our lunar lady portends events a long-time-coming. Karma settles a tab and lucky Dragon is the benefactor.

Mercury Rat | Direct

Mark your cosmic calendar or take star notes: on the Horse Full Moon Dec 15th Mercury goes direct in the Rat entering a Shadow period lasting until January 2nd next year. In Feng Shui Rat rules the North for career luck. In business matters you could get a 2nd chance.

Mercury crosses his shadow by going back over the ground already covered before he went retrograde. This go-around will net new progress. In occupational goals we will see momentum. Resolving issues in this cosmic process will leads to new positions.

Shadow energy helps to illuminate our chosen pathways. At first glance shadowy forces present stark contrasts that can cause alarm. It throws us off kilter. Yet it’s the energy of darkness that gives us an edge to bridge our gaps as a key to achieving a desired result.

Ox | Solstice Sun

Happy Birthday to all my Lucky Ox (Capricorn) signs! Saturday December 21st at 1:21 AM PST the Sun enters the Ox sign. This marks the celebration of the Winter Solstice in the North hemisphere and Summer in the South; as the Sun makes it’s annual crossing over the equator.

On the shortest day and the longest night the Sun crosses hemispheres opening a portal happening once a year. This portal is a cultural connection to the universe celebrated since the dawn of humanity. It’s legacy is recorded in stone circles and geographic devices.

Ox is at home in the Northeast direction and in Form Feng Shui is the Mountain ruling Ancestors. Ox builds foundations and governs status. Ox is a sacred sign as part of the Mystic Triad with Snake and Bird. The Sun gives Oxen (Capricorns) a full solar recharge. Shine on!

Pluto | Tiger Years

A big heart is etched on the side of the Dwarf planet Pluto in a remote section of our solar system. Pluto is a wanderer and explorer that takes 248 years to circle the elliptic. In November Pluto hit Zero again after a retro period to begin a transit that will last the next 19 years.

Many moons and generations have come and gone since Pluto’s last Tiger transit. In 1776 a Tea Party sparked a Revolution in 1778. From it a fledgling Democracy was born. Built primarily due to Tiger’s strong alliances as a team player and as Brother-in-arms.

For the last 14 years Pluto in the Ox challenged Dogma and the status quo. Pluto is a binary system with an eccentric orbit. Tiger presides over Patriarch Luck. Initially deemed to be to planet X Pluto was demoted to Dwarf. With Tiger’s vision Pluto will boldly explore other worlds.

November’s bedeviling cosmic motion begins on the 1st when the veil between worlds is lifted. Spirits rise on Hallows Eve for All Saints day and to celebrate (Día de los muertos), the Day of the Dead. It all happens on a double-dark, Micro New Moon and Sun in the Pig sign.

From start to end this month features a rare Black Moon. What’s a black moon? It happens when we have two New Moons in a single month or sign. Mid-month the celestial canopy dazzles with a Super Full Moon in the Snake sign conjunct to retrograde Uranus!

Lady Luck Venus is already in the Rat as the month begins and Mercury moves in. Venus moves to the Ox late in the month. But Mercury’s in the Rat for the rest of this year- going retrograde at month’s end. Mars moves to the Monkey and Saturn goes direct in the Hare.

Pig | Micro New Moon ~ Sun

On Friday Nov 1st at 05:48 AM PDT Earth has a Pig ~ Micro New Moon Sun. The Pig Sun and Moon go-dark In the wee hours before daybreak making this a Yin-yin, Micro-mini Moon. As the lunar cycle goes dark secrets are safe but the truth will out and consequences are coming.

Pig is the bank of the Zodiac. A New Pig Moon shifts currency markets with new trends. Pig’s super power is passion. Like all New Moons this one offers time to plant seeds for growth so start something new. Pig is part of the Compassion Triad with Goat and Hare signs.

This Tiger benefits as Pig’s Super Buddy and Blue Rat is Pig’s Peach Blossom sign. Dragons simply love Pigs.This new moon phase is a big win for the Zodiac tribe! On the New Moon tide Mars enters the Monkey sign and Mercury enters the Rat.

November | Flying Stars 2024

Nov 4th the Monthly Flying Stars change. This month the Stars fly home meaning the patterns return to their universal arrangement. This bodes well for the common good. To energize good fortunes: light a white candle and place a bowl of fresh oranges on the table or counter.

Auspicious Stars this month build lasting foundations. Place a cornerstone at rock-bottom or a a Keystone at the top. Put plans in action. Seal the deal. When the Accident 5 Star flies to the Heart Center it becomes the Lucky Sum of Ten to overcome all obstacles for success so use it.

Venus | Ox

Celebrate progress on Nov 11th as Lady Luck Venus enters the Ox. While Venus grazes her way through the Ox cosmic events evolve the cultural landscape. In the Ox Venus is said to be hard, cold and distant. She’s less forgiving. Be mindful of what’s sacred.

Venus in the Ox is not considered the best placement for the Goddess. However this year’s transit speaks volumes: do not take the feminine edge for granted. In fact do not take anything for granted. Venus in the Ox is not a-given, or a sure thing. Good Graces must be earned.

Friday at 1:29 PM PST on NOV 15th Earth has a Super Full Moon in the Snake sign. The Lunar Lady is exalted in the Serpent. This Super Moon is positively a booster for female aspirations to fulfill your wildest dreams. This Snake Full Moon signals a green light for expansive changes.

Mesmerizing and magnetizing, Snakes alluring properties win the day. The double serpent is a magic wand, an ancient symbol of Hermes for healing. A Super Full Moon in the Snake elevates incomes to rise all boats. Snake is the lead character in many creation stories.

What needs doing will get accomplished. The wheels are in motion so just reset the order of priorities. Hare is a sign of hospitality and in feng shui it presides over health and family. As Saturn pushes forward on the elliptic what give us a sense of belonging is key.

The Hare lives in a land of enchantment and it turns-out the stories we tell affect our outcomes and well-being. So Saturn gets busy restructuring the story-line. As Saturn goes direct take stock and prepare for a revised set of circumstances.

Sun | Rat

Happy Birthday to all my Lucky Rats! On Thursday, Nov 21st at 12:02 PM PST the Sun enters the Rat with a Zero Crown. This portends a changing of the old-guard. It’s truly a wild card. Our Sun symbolizes our sense of self and the Sun in your sign gives Rats a full, solar recharge.

October ~ Lucky Stars | 2024

October | Signals

As October gets going Earth has an extra-temporary Moon. In the Dog the Sun, Mercury and Dark Lady Lilith are all conjunct. War God Mars continues to blaze through the Peace-seeking Goat giving momentum to unique possibilities as quirky cultures take root.

And Dog keeps the ball rolling. The US political field is a junkyard of Dogs born in the Fire Dog year 1946 with past-presidents Bill, George and Don. For the old guard the October 2nd micro-moon eclipse leaves a lot to be desired as the feminine divine rises to social power.

Mid October the Grand Duke Jupiter goes retrograde in the Horse. Big dreams won’t be dashed entirely but some get sent back to the drawing board. The coming Dragon Lunar eclipse is certain to be illuminating. And the door to the Spirit World is open on Hallows Eve.

Dog | Solar Eclipse – Micro New Moon & Sun

On Wednesday October 2nd we have a Micro-New Moon at 11:50 AM PDT in the Dog sign. This new moon is a solar eclipse with the Sun and Moon conjunct along with Dark Lady Lilith and messenger Mercury. It’s a game-changer combination, life-event for Dog signs.

But-like all new moons this complex drama plays out in the shadows. When we look at the chart the Crown in the Bird suggests justice and accountability are paramount. For some this cosmic evolution involves a shrinking of former-selves to fit the new models of acceptability.

The effects of this eclipse may seem like they are a black box to figure out; as the tide turns on the wheel of fortune and the cosmic cards are reshuffled in the deck. Dogs can recover a new sense of duty but must take a backseat to Dragon as a power transition unfolds.

September | Begins

September’s Zodiac events feature a Lunar eclipse in the Hare. But right from the start September 1st Uranus retrogrades in the Snake. Snakes are shapeshifters who remake the landscape. On the same day planetoid Pluto retrogrades to the Ox and fate plays his hand.

This crossroad moment in the stars is absolutely the last time Pluto tugs the tail of the Yak for another 248 years. September is a rebound month. Pluto affects generational trends. Small shifts equal big impacts. Pluto’s grind is short-lived and returns to the Tiger November 21st.

Then things will be set in stone. But for now things are a bit fluid. Pluto’s step back activates the Mystic Triad with the Bird, Ox and Snake signs. A New Bird Moon arrives September 2nd to reset the flow and ground energy in new modes.

Monday, September 2nd at 6:56 PM Pacific time we have a Micro New Moon and Sun in the Bird sign. Birds come in so many guises but this legendary Phoenix brings a Quicksilver energy that is fast-acting. The Bird New Moon delivers renewals with a rejuvenating essence.

In ancient times Phoenix is the Guardian of the South. On the Zodiac wheel Rooster sits in the West presiding over Descendants Luck and creativity. In the Zodiac Bird’s super power is Song to create harmony. And Bird’s super buddy is the Dragon giving Dragons a leg-up.

On September 4th planet Mars the War God and pure yang energy, enters the Goat sign. The Goat is part of the Compassion Triad with Pig and Hare signs. Goat’s a party animal and talented social climber. Goats scale new heights with ambitious intention with Mars as a helper.

The planet Mars passage through the Goat lasts a few months. Mars will enter the Monkey on November 1st. While Mars is in the Goat old and new friends will blend and you’ll have time for domestic duties. In the Goat Mars can burn cash so go easy on your budget and get handy.

Tuesday, September 17th at 7:36 PM Pacific time we have a Full Super Moon (partial) Lunar eclipse in the Hare sign. This chart has a wonderful butterfly effect built-in with Hare and Dog across the cosmic divide. The flutter action is an auspicious event for happiness to blossom.

The chart formation expresses an equilibrium we don’t usually see in the stellar patterns. This can have a positive after glow. The Hare’s super power is magic, its super buddy is the Dog. Hare’s part of the Compassion Triad with Goat and Pig signs. Goat has high expectations.

Eclipses blot things out that we didn’t see coming. It can be alarming. But what you resist will persist so use this cosmic mojo to shift focus into a higher vibration and seek the good instead of the bad. Surrender unfulfilled desires to the universe and let something better evolve.

On the Sun’s day September 22nd the Sun enters the Dog sign on the Vernal Equinox at 5:45 AM Pacific time just before sunrise. The Sun in the Dog is an annual recharge for those born in the Dog month and gives a booster shot to those born in a Dog year.

Dog sits on the Northwest side of the Zodiac compass in the transportation, service and travel sector. Dogs give service. Duty is their super power. The Dog is super buddies with the Hare sign and is in the Power Triad with Horses and Tigers. Dog days are loved and admired.

This New baby Moon quickly sweeps past Venus, Mercury and all the other planets on its path as it comes full circle to land on the Ascendant horizon in just one day. This baby moon delivers miraculous moments to infuse special powers to a lucky few.

On August 5th Mercury the planet of commerce, courts and transportation goes retrograde. This repeating cycle begins at 4 degrees in the Bird and spins back to the Monkey sign. Luckily Mercury is exalted in the Bird as we revisit and review before Mercury goes forward again.

During this elliptic pullback we may receive things we think we don’t want. Mismatched socks and ruffled feathers can distort reality. But before we are to-quick-to judge check again. An investigation begins with the word invest. So invest time to know why something is returned.

Seeing something bounce back gives us a clue to hidden motives and self-suppression. Results tell us that whatever we are sending out – is what we are receiving. It’s the by product of our own making. Shifting attitudes can bend the light to expose a silver lining.

Mars & Jupiter | conjunct

On August 14th Mars reaches a peak conjunction with Jupiter in the Horse sign. Normally Mars would whizz right by but Jupiter’s brisk pace slows Mars’ ability to make the cross over. This creates a shrink-effect. What does this mean?

Both Mars and Jupiter are yang planets in the yang Horse sign. This affects politics, promotions, fame and reputations. It strongly suggests a weakening of the Mars energy. Anything overtly brazen will lose steam and appear diminished.

Jupiter reduces Mar’s ability to make headway. Unforeseen consequences could develop. What at first seemed opposing may only be a blip on the screen. This multi day event lasts a week as Jupiter siphons off the Mars to steal his thunder and reap the benefits.

Tiger | Super Blue Moon

On Monday August 19th at 11:23 AM PDT just before noon we have a Super BLUE Full Moon in the Tiger. As this moon reaches total illumination we are able to clearly the results of our choices. And they might surprise you. Tiger rules the brotherhood and Patriarch luck.

This Tiger Moon is brilliantly lite in a cinematic fashion. Everything will have greater emphasis to express itself boldly. Tiger’s the visionary sign of the Zodiac that sees way ahead of the rest. Mighty Tiger seizes attention as he leaps through hoops of fire to leave his imprint.

This lofty Tiger the Moon will be at 27 degrees adding a bonus of good fortune and perhaps a bountiful jackpot for the lucky few touched by this chart aspect. Dragons get a super charge as well with the Part of Fortune landing on Chiron where doors of opportunity fly open.

Sun | Bird

On Thursday August 22nd the Sun enters the Bird sign at 8:07 AM Pacific time. The transition of the lunar cycle is now complete and a new wave of wonders begin. Bird is the bean counter and keeps score of what’s-what and who’s on, or off base.

Sun in the Bird is a solar recharge for all the lucky Bird signs. Happy Birthday Birdie. Bird sits in the West where a new evolution is in full swing. Our Lady Luck Venus is also in the bird sign but she’s in detriment landing just below the Ascendant horizon.

As Mercury crosses territory already covered it brings more accountability to center stage. What goes around comes around and what seemed lost or forgotten can be restored. Seek and ye shall find.

Venus | Dog

Hallelujah! On August 29th our Lady of Love and Luxury enters the Dog sign where she can once again promote peace and prosperity throughout the land. By their nature Dogs give service, its their super power.

Those less fortunate find favor. If you need help this is your lucky amulet. And if you simply want to spruce things up on a budget Venus refreshes the old to make it feel new again. Love will bloom and friendships blossom. Dogs are easy to know and love.

On July 4th America celebrates it’s independence. Fireworks light up the sky! This year it falls on a New Moon cycle making the show more dramatic than usual. But also casting many shadows that appear different then they really are.

We may need to act on faith and follow our hearts when uncertainly resides. Shine the light to cast out this darkness. Happy Birthday America. May our democracy survive!

July 5th we have a Goat New Moon and Sun on Friday at 3:39 PM, PDT. This baby Goat is a charmer, playful and entertaining. The Sun and Moon at 14 degrees shows a marker in time where youth will steal the spotlight.

Before we wrap the month of June with all its magnificent aspects, alignments and conjunctions taskmaster Grandfather Time, planet Saturn goes Retrograde in the Hare sign. The Hare is a magical creature and is, itself known to monkey with time.

As the sun sets Tuesday, May 7th at 8:24 PM PDT we have New Moon and Sun in the Snake sign. This New Moon Sun combo features an exalted Venus on one side with the Uranus Jupiter conjunct on the other.

Snakes are total transformers in myth, magic and more. So it’s a good time to shed a layer to make gains on this New Mystic Moon Sun Serpent cycle.

May Days | 2024

May 2024 Sun Moon and Stars is a celestial celebration. Pluto the planet of Fate went retrograde early-on. Monthly Flying Stars changed next. And on May 7th we have New Moon and Sun forming a Lucky Pearl Strand with planets: Venus, Uranus and Jupiter in the Snake.

In the Dragon Mercury’s Shadow period ends May 12th and Mercury enters the Snake on May 15th. The Sun enters the Horse May 20th. On May 23rd Lady Luck Venus and the Grand Duke Jupiter are conjunct in the Snake as the Full Moon rises in the Rat sign.

This magical cosmic event lingers and on and Saturday May 25th at the crack of dawn the happy couple Venus and Jupiter cross the threshold for a cosmic Honeymoon. Lucky Venus and benefactor, Jupiter entwined in the Serpent enter the Horse sign for a new Astro year.

Pluto Retrograde | Tiger

On May 2nd Pluto went retrograde at 2 degrees of the Tiger giving Tiger signs time to reassess long term goals. Pluto represents a remote possibility, a far cry, a fat-chance, the pebble in the shoe and sand stuck in an oyster’s shell. Pluto takes 248 years to loop the Zodiac.

Pluto represents generational and cultural winds of change. Recently, Pluto entered the Tiger which is home to the Northeast Scholars and education zone. It’s symbol is the Pagoda for Patriarch Luck and the Brotherhood.

Regal Tiger loves traditions and Team Tiger is a warrior heart. The New Mountain cycle brought the Fighting 3 Star to the Northeast corner on the compass for Ox and Tiger. For Tigers this will last 20 years as Pluto grinds down the past to install Tiger’s vision over time.

This 2024 Plutonian retrograde phase lasts 6 months turning back Pluto to a full reset at Ground Zero. As that happens Pluto’s dust-ups in the world will subside. Pluto goes forward in the Tiger on October 12th with clear focus and bold intentions to reinvent the world.

On or about May 4th the Monthly Flying Stars changed. The unlucky Illness Star 2 flies to the Heart Center bringing weakness. Relationships may need a caretaker mode to offer compassion for those in recovery.
