Timothy: Hi folks, Timothy Harvey here for SciFi4Me and Horror4Me's Zombpocalypse Now podcast. Dustin is kinda indisposed at the moment. There was an event that occurred in this week's episode of AMC's Preacher that has had an... emotional effect.

Dustin: Why, Tim, WHYYYYYYY?

Timothy: What you kids can't see at home, is that Dustin just pulled himself from his semi-fetal position on the couch, reached over and grabbed my shoulders and shook me like a bobble-head.

I'm... going to have to ask him to never do that again.

Oddly enough, it popped my neck, so not only did he get to express his anguish, but I got to lose this crick in my neck that's been bothering me. Huh. Timothy: Emily. Her name is Emily.

Dustin: Who?

Timothy: The Church Lady. The character whose name we can never remember? The actresses' name is Lucy Griffiths, and the character's name is Emily.

Dustin: Huh. OK. And the name of the actress who plays the summer camp lady?

Timothy: That's Elizabeth Mitchell, but we'll be talking about her and her new show Dead of Summer on a different episode.

Dustin: She's the one you have a crush on, right?

Timothy: I have expressed that I think she is an excellent actress and a very attractive woman, if that's what you mean.

Dustin: Mmm hmm. Suuuure.

Timothy: You do realize that people are reading this part, and so they can't see you making possibly the world's most exaggerated wink, right?

Dustin: But you can, Tim. You can.

Timothy: Shut up. Folks, we're talking Preacher this week, like we do, and we'll also have an extra episode too, where

these two children of the 80's will chat about the new Freeform series Dead of Summer. You can check out Allison Isberg's review of the first episode here too. As always, we should probably warn you that Preacher, like the Walking Dead shows, is for mature audiences, and our Zombpocalypse Now podcasts may have some saltier language.

Dustin: Seriously, do we have to go back to watching Fear the Walking Dead after Preacher is over? Because this show about terrible people is so much more fun than that show about people who are terrible.

Timothy: We do owe it to the people to finish watching the season, yes.

Dustin: Do we, Tim? Do we really?

Timothy: Yes. We do. Until then though, we have Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun and Jackie Earle Haley to keep us entertained.

Dustin: Especially Jackie Earle Haley. He is amazing in this show. Odin and Tulip. They are the best things.

Season 1, Episode 3 “The Possibilities”

Dustin: Well, it doesn't sound too bad. 

Timothy: Considering the alternative was people only hearing my side of the conversation for the first six minutes of the show? Yes, in that case, it doesn't sound too bad.

Dustin: That could be interesting, actually. Trying to figure out what the other side of the conversation is, based on your responses. Or considering that you've lost your mind and are just talking to yourself like a crazy person. Well, crazier person.

Timothy: Uh huh. Hi folks! Yes, your ears are not deceiving you. Dustin does sound like he's talking from inside a box at the bottom of a well for almost 7 minutes of this episode of Zombpocalypse Now. We had a technical issue involving the card in the recorder deciding that it wanted to freak out and have some weird error that wiped Dustin's side of the conversation.

Dustin: It probably considered the thought of Fear the Walking Dead is coming back in the fall, and just couldn't go on. Turns out that your mic picked up enough of my side for you to do arcane audio magicks upon it and make my dulcet tones available for the masses.

Timothy: "Arcane audio magicks?"

Dustin: I don't know what you do with your magic computing machine. Sorcery of some kind. Anyway! Here's the latest Preacher review thing we do. Enjoy!

Dustin: I am resisting the urge to leave my children in the forest to be eaten by the trolls.

Timothy: First of all, we don't have a forest. Second, trolls only exist on the internet in comment sections, and not even you would inflict those monsters on your kids. Third, your kids are awesome.

Dustin: Sigh. They are. And thank you for crushing my hopes and dreams.

Timothy: That's why I'm here. And to do our Zombpocalypse Now podcast.

Dustin: I see what you did there. It was graceless and obvious, so it was hard to miss.

Timothy: I do try. Hey there folks. Dustin and I have some things to say about the latest episode of Preacher, like we do. Take a listen.

With both Walking Dead series on their season and mid-season breaks, #TeamZombie continues its new Zombpocalypse Now podcast by turning the baleful eyes of Mr. Harvey and Mr. Adair onto AMC's newest supernatural thriller: Preacher.

DUSTIN: You do realize that we recorded this last week, right? Like a week ago, last week.

TIM: Yeah, but we had the mid-season finale for Fear the Walking Dead last week and the premiere of Preacher, and then nothing this Sunday, so...

DUSTIN: So you thought you'd keep us on a weekly schedule, with the second episode of Preacher coming out June 5th. I suppose this is acceptable.

TIM: Gee, thanks. Anyway, unlike our reviews of The Walking Dead, where we both had read the comic book, you haven't read Preacher.

DUSTIN: Nope. And you have, so we get to have both someone watching it with fresh eyes and the view of a fan of the comic. Should be fun.

Dustin: Oh thank God, our long nightmare is finally over.

Timothy: Well, at least until August, when/if;Fear the Walking Dead;comes back for the second half of its season.

Dustin: You couldn't just let me have the illusion, could you? You're a monster.

Fear the Walking Dead for this episode of Zombpocalypse Now, and Mr. Adair and I have thoughts both on this episode and on the series so far.

Tim: Yeah, I looked it up too.

Dustin: Religious themes for a show that basically teaches that faith is futile. Whatever. Hi folks, it's Dustin and Tim recording Zombpocalypse Now for Horror4Me and SciFi4Me. It's just the two of us again, as it so often is, but we're used to that by now. Here we talk about AMC's Fear the Walking Dead, which we find an arduous watch, but a fun discussion, and one we hope you'll find fun too. Unlike this show.

>Dustin: You take too long.

Timothy: It's just us again this week.

Dustin: Yes, the others have escaped. I begged them to take me with them, but they laughed, evilly. Evilly I tell you.

Timothy: Ah, no... Anne-Marie went back to New Orleans, and Curtis is covering a co-workers shift tonight, otherwise he would be here.

Dustin: They laughed evilly and said I had to stay behind and watch this show to atone for my sins. My terrible, terrible sins.

Timothy: Uh huh. Anyway, Dustin and I are back to talk the latest episode of Fear the Walking Dead as we build up to the season finale, and we hopefully will entertain you, just a bit. And probably pay for our sins... just a little bit. Take a listen.

Timothy: This week's Zombpocalypse Now is a bit different. If you've been with Dustin and me and our reviews of the Walking Dead universe for a while, then you'll know the names Anne-Marie and Curtis well, as they were the other members of SciFi4Me's Team Zombie for most of our run reviewing the shows.

Dustin: With Anne-Marie moving to New Orleans and Curtis' time in the theatre taking him away from our Sunday night revels, it has just been the two of us, doing our reviews as the videos and now the podcasts. But not tonight... tonight we were all back together again!

Curtis: We got the band back together!

Anne-Marie: We had pie!

Timothy: We watched Fear the Walking Dead!

Anne-Marie: We are not thanking you for that!

Curtis: Dude. Seriously. You guys are mean.

Dustin: Tim won't let me quit, and I WILL NOT SUFFER ALONE.

Timothy: Quiet you. We had a great time together again, and we think our podcast shows that. It also shows we digress like crazy, are terribly silly and inappropriate people, and should not be allowed in polite company. We hope you have fun listening to us have fun together!
