This is such a special podcast featuring two legends of the sport. Collin Snoeck, owner of Tilt Scooters, has gone leaps and bounds through his brand. Part design, sending riders around the globe to promote the sport & creating a new genre are just a few of the things that Collin has succeeded in and I wanted to know what the story behind his start, his failures and his successes was.
Delaney Ball....what a G. Delaney has been killing it within the industry for quite some time now. Delaney is out there doing it for the girls across the world on her scooter. She was recently crowned the first girl to hit the Hollywood 16 rail, first ever girl Tilt team rider (and very well deserved) & is an all around bad-ass on the scoot. I have never had the chance to truly sit down and talk with Delaney, but this was a great way to do it. With herself and Collin side by side.
Huge thanks to both Collin and Delaney for coming and sitting down to have a conversation with me at Scooter Zone. By the way, this was filmed quite some time ago...so I apologize for the delay in uploading it. Thank you all for listening and enjoy.
Vincent Kudrna is one of the most gifted scooter riders on the planet. He has been a long time rider for Fasen Scooters, has a ton of worlds firsts in his bag and he has grown to spread professionalism both on and off his scooter. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to sit down with Vincent and talk about his journey. In this interview, we talk about tours, tricks, the current state of Fasen, Vincent's signature parts and more. We apologize for being absent for so long, but we hope you enjoy today's podcast regardless. Thank you all for tuning into this special interview with VinCoon.
We had the chance to sit down with scooter legend Andrew Broussard. Andrew is a big reason scootering is where it is today due to his many creations such as Scooter Resource, the SD competition and some of the first ever quality aftermarket parts. The goal of this interview is to educate as many people as possible within the world of scootering. We want people to know where the sport came from and how it evolved during its infancy. We also get into some controversial topics like the TDI system and why it is claimed by Broussard as being the future of scooter decks, what scootering needs, the happenings of the Proto team as well as things that Andrew has overcome throughout the past few years. There are also many points where we talk about the formation of brands such as Proto Scooters, River Wheel Co and Scooter Resource & the milestones they've all overcome. If you've been in scootering for quite some time and have either heard of or had the chance to talk to Andrew, ridden some of his parts or support his contribution to the sport, you'll be intrigued at many points throughout this conversation. Huge thanks to Andrew for coming out and sitting down with us and giving us the opportunity to enlighten those within the sport that we all love so much. Enjoy.
ISF Scooter National Championships, the 7" wide deck, social media & scootering....all of these topics and more are covered in today's episode.
In this episode, Raymond and Matt go over a couple of the most controversial topics in scootering and give you some insight on what they think the reasoning behind the controversy is. These topics include skateboarding vs scootering and where that battle is at today as well as corporate sponsorships and why scootering hasn't gotten anything like this at this point. There are a lot of opinions attached to this conversation, so be ready and let us know what your thoughts are on these topics.
In this week's episode of Zoned Out, Raymond and Matt break down exactly what happened over at the SD Street Jam as well as World Championships over in Barcelona, Spain. They also tell you a little more about the ups and downs of scootering while introducing a couple extremely talented scooter riders that you may have never heard of.
