As part of our evening services, Mike Waine lead a discussion, in the style of a Zoom Theology event, around the relationship between faith and Nationalism, whether Britain should be considered a Christian Country and whether we can belong to both the Kingdom of God and Kingdoms of Earth? This is what Mike shared before the time of discussion began.

If you would like to use this to have your own discussion, some suggested questions are:

1) What does Britishness mean to you?

2) Is it important to you to see England/Britain as a 'Christian Country'?

3) The Queen is the 'Supreme Governor' of the Church of England, a position first held by King Henry VIII. Is it right for the State to have an involvement within the Church, or should the two be separate?

4) Should all Christians be pacifists?

5) What does a Christian Politic look like in Britain today?
