  • #50: Pitching Real Investors In An Elevator... And Walking Away With Cash! (LIVE)
I MADE IT TO 50! For the 50th episode of Zoppa: Business Behind The Scenes, I wanted to share something special with all of you. This episode was recorded on January 18th, 2019 and is by far my favorite episode that I have released so far.

In this episode, I step into an elevator with real investors and end up walking away with cash. You'll see how it all plays out as I recorded my entire interaction with them, as well as the events leading up to and the events after the elevator pitch. To top it all off, I am in the midst of hiring a dedicated podcast producer, that way we can keep pumping out quality episodes just like this one. I go more in to depth on the show. If you enjoy this episode, please be sure to leave a like, rating, and review. It means the world!

    Cheers!

  • #49: 5 Steps To Help Streamline The Interview Process - Make Hiring Easy Again!
In this episode, I discuss exactly how I go about interviewing 10-20 people per week and hiring 1-2 people per week. I break down the exact 5 step system I follow, which is shown below.

    1. Create Job Description
    2. Post on Indeed
    3. Qualify and Approve Applicant
    4. Send Templated Message
    5. Set Up Calendly and Perform Interviews

Following that 5 step process is a two step orientation process that I will outline in a future podcast episode.

Let me know if you are enjoying this type of pod content and I will be sure to produce and upload more!

  • #47: Changes Coming To Business Behind The Scenes
2019 is going to be the year of crushing it on the podcast! This year, I am planning on stepping up the podcast production schedule and am aiming to ramp up to one episode per day. A daily show is a lot of work, so I am currently in the process of hiring a producer to help take some of the burden off of myself. I am super excited to share the Behind The Scenes of growing the podcast as well as the regular long form content.

This year, you can expect varying forms of content on the show including:

    1. Long form interviews with business owners.
    2. 'Local Leader' interviews with business owners that are active in their community.
    3. Behind The Scenes of growing the podcast.
    4. Behind The Scenes of growing my property maintenance company (I think there will end up being a lot of this type of content, as I continue to grow and develop as a business owner).
    5. Guest posts from other business owners, including marketer Jay Cumming.

I am excited to continue on with the show and to always be improving.

    Cheers!

  • #43: Expert Salesman Oliver Wolf
Oliver Wolf is a Business Strategist, Sales Coach and Visionary for The Wolf Syndicate.

He began his entrepreneurial journey almost a decade ago in Montreal in a non-typical way. Having come from a dark place, he has completely recreated himself, his universe and has become a beacon of inspiration. Oliver, now 26 years old, has been a top 1% performer in every endeavor he has taken on. His consecutive success has lead him to coach more than 50 separate businesses in different industries as well as be a keynote speaker about philosophies for success for as many as 80 entrepreneurs at a time.

Oliver's top performance has earned him prestigious awards such as the "Leadership" award for being the top influential leader within his organization and the "Manager of the Year" award for having top revenue, profit and customer satisfaction out of 112 other franchises across Canada within the organization.

When he isn't out solving problems and creating win-win relationships, Oliver invests his time in being athletic through rock climbing, basketball, soccer, frisbee or hitting the gym; you may also find him meditating on the roof of a 15 story building, although you probably shouldn't go try to say hi if you see him there because he definitely didn’t get there by the stairs!
