Yeah, this is a longer one, and that's ok! My friend and I discuss music, tv, film, food, youtube, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember, but it's good. We have fun. Listen to Austin's cool music and read his whimsical musings at www.theinvisiblesundial.com
I interrupt Naomi's comedy rehearsal and catch up as best I can. Also featuring a very pleasant guest from Turkey (whom I've never spoken to prior to this conversation). With more failed attempts to contact Dalton Johnson and other friends.
Spice Rooster actually uses the lil time machine in this one. It's pretty neat.
I interview a good buddy o mine from the high school days, Clint Purser. We catch up, talk about his band, upcoming events, dealing with pandemic depression, and of course anime. It's mostly anime. A little bit about Demon Slayer, but mostly JoJo's. (Featuring failed attempts to interview buddies from college!: Dalton J and Kevin B)
With special musical guests: The Torrance Kids
Gotta be honest, the story doesn't advance all that much in this one but it's FUN.
My oldest brother Cameron and I discuss creative work, his new editing job, anime, and other great things.
News articles on marine biology and facts about cats. (Spice Rooster episode 7 to be released next week)
This is the schnitzel episode. Yes, THE schnitzel episode. (and ice cream)
I bought a new mic (RODE NT-USB, which is much better quality than my Blue Yeti which broke in less than two years after buying it [also less expensive]) I really, really like this mic, if you can't tell. It's great. I hope it lasts longer than my last mic, and according to sources, I think it will, since RODE is a reliable brand. Anyway, enough about me.
This episode is a complete re-recording of episode 5, now with much better, crisper sound, with a few bonus fun nuggets including extra new commercials and fourth wall breaks. If you've already listened to the bad sound quality version of part 5 (first of all, my deepest apologies) I think listening to this improved version is still worth it, for both the sound quality respecting your eardrums, as well as the fun bonus bits.
I'm gonna keep the trash sound version of part 5 on here just for vault and historical reasons, in case our future alien archeologists want to study it.
Enjoy!
