A secret recipe has been stolen and McNeil has been hired to steal it back. After confronting the thief, a smarmy southern colonel, McNeil decided to try his hand at deciphering the recipe himself. Before he even puts his apron on, McNeil is paid a visit by the colonel’s muscle. McNeil seemed to have the upper hand – that is until a gun is pulled and a shot fired.

Peter McNeil is hired to steal back an old family recipe. Sounds easy enough. This case should be McNeil’s easiest yet.
