In aggressively approaching Satan with the Word of God, Jesus stood firm and victorious at the very point where Adam fell to Satan in defeat.

There is a kind of false teaching that replaces knowable revealed doctrine with a tolerance of relativistic outlook that makes moral absolutes appear ridiculous. Bad teaching and bad deeds go together. And Peter, in this message, says God will passionately judge both.

WHERE WRATH AND MERCY MEET - This world presents us with a variety of situations we have to navigate that are unjust and unfair and sometimes even against our rights. That’s the place where our trust in Christ ceases to be talk. It ceases to be invisible. It leaves the private world of our own thoughts and enters the humble, cross-carrying world of reality. And to the degree you plan out and execute your own defence you practice the opposite of saving faith in Christ Jesus. You expose the invisible world of your true inward ruler.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS - Pastor Don answers the following questions from the congregation: Will any people experience conscious eternal damnation for the rejection of God or will they simply be annihilated? Or will everybody be saved in the end? If people DO suffer eternally for their rejection of God, how fair is it of God to punish them eternally for sins committed in a brief moment here on earth?

RESISTING FATALISM WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT - It is not futile or depressing to remember that once we were without Christ. Remembering this fact will increase our passion for getting God's truth to a perishing world and make our worship and Christian life fresh each time we think about it.
