He entered into our suffering when He took on flesh and knows what it's like to be full of sorrow. Was this Jesus' sole purpose, to identify with our suffering? Or was it that Jesus came to suffer in our place being raised for our justification?

WHERE WRATH AND MERCY MEET - It is dreadful to stop and examine the things our world passionately considers worthy of mind-time. We, as Christians, need to re-evaluate our own thought space. What we think about doesn’t just occupy our minds, it forms them. So what you think about - what you apply thought to - is the most important thing about you. And the church is fast losing the capacity to be dominated by, what Paul calls, “the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16).

WHERE WRATH AND MERCY MEET - Throughout the Old Testament we have learned that sin matters, that outcomes are different when people sin because sin brings God's wrath. The will of the Lord is the cross - a once for all sacrifice to atone for humankind's sin. However, as Pastor Don explains in this message, the Lord doesn't just take away our sins, He makes us to be counted as righteous because of His righteousness.
