When you are born again and put your faith in Christ, the Spirit of God unites you to Christ so that you are part of his body and a fellow-heir with him of eternal life.

Christ’s work of redemption is completed, and the church’s work of evangelism begins. Acts chronicles the initial stages and features of that unfinished work, and sets the path the church is to follow until the end.

Guilt is a universal experience. Everybody at some time or other has had the bad feeling of not doing what he ought to have done. Even people who deny that there is any such thing as right and wrong are trapped by the law of God written on their hearts.

You and I can not just walk into the presence of God on our own, Jesus must escort us there. How often Jesus would say, there is no other way to the Father but by me.

The Passover is about a Lamb, a Lamb that was slain. The Passover was about a lamb back in the time of Moses, and it is still about a Lamb, whether that lamb be Moses’s lamb or Mary’s Lamb. You see, Mary’s Lamb was a fulfillment of the prophecy of Moses’s lamb.

God’s creates man as male and female and then ordaining marriage as the relationship in which a male leaves mother and father and cleaves to his wife in covenant commitment. This act of creation and this ordinance of marriage seeks the revelation through Christ and his church, and Christianity as the revelation of the mystery.

Complementing each other means that the differences of male and female will be respected and affirmed and valued. Male and female will not try to duplicate each other, but will highlight in each other the unique qualities that make for mutual enrichment.

Why would God come to the man first, and call him to give and account instead of going to the woman first, especially since she ate the fruit first? The most natural answer is that God gave to the man a primary responsibility for the moral life of the garden and therefore man has a primary accountability for the failure to live by it.
