Here we see the destruction of the marriage relationship because of sin in this world. When you read on through the following chapters in Genesis, you also see: the first homicide, the first double murders, the first polygamy, and eventually the first genocide. On and on and on and on, all because at the very beginning someone said, “I will be God.”

If you or I defy God, we cannot undo the defiance. It cannot be undone, we can only cover ourselves in shame. There is no way back to innocence, the Bible says there is only one way to correct this, not going back, but going forward, to the cross where Jesus death restores the broken relationship between God and fallen man.

If we always loved God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and always loved others as ourselves, then we would have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. That is the reality of where Adam and Eve were in the beginning, in the garden before they sinned.

So where does one begin to submit to God’s will? We must begin with self-crucifixion. We must go to our own funeral and bury the self-will so that God’s will can reign supremely in our hearts. Our will has no power to do God’s will until it first dies to its own desires and the Holy Spirit brings a fresh power within.

The caring woman is brave and is willing to stand against those in control to do the right thing.

The caring woman has common sense about life from God’s perspective; she lives right from wrong.

The caring woman takes action to insure the right thing is done.

The caring woman pays the price to insure the right thing is done.

The bible keeps the focus on the main thing: man and his restoration to God. Contrary to what others propose, the bible goes hand in hand with science—proven science, not theory.

This is how we understood how the world came to be and where we came from. It all began with God.

Everything was understood as all started with God, when facing and solving any problem.

A key component in following Christ, or in a right relationship to Christ is following Christ no matter what and not evaluating and discerning your own worthiness or your own faithfulness or your own role by comparing yourself with somebody else.

FAITH is not about what Happens or doesn’t happen to us! Faith is about believing God and remaining focused on HIM. NOT our life circumstances. FAITH sees a PURPOSE! God’s PURPOSE!

The Gospel is not in the first instance about something God has done for me, but about something God has objectively done in history. It is about Jesus, especially about His death and resurrection.
