Jesus Himself is the truth and now His Spirit of truth will lead the disciples into all the implications of the truth. There is no other foundation for truth: the notion of “guidance” is understanding God as He has revealed Himself, and aligning with and obeying that revelation

Jesus handed over His spirit, no-one took His life from Him. He had the authority to lay it down of His own accord, the culmination of total obedience.

Every individual in the world loves his own things. The world does not really love each other; it is that each individual in the world loves himself and the things that are his. They only love others when it will bring an advantage to them. In the world, there’s no pure love for the sake of love, as God’s love is rejected. This world system loves only to pacify its conscience, or to gain an advantage

God remains among and in His people by renewing them with His life, with His Spirit, and through making His presence known in them and among them 14:16. They remain in Him by obeying His commands.
