Here's one to pass along to people who are curious and interested in an Emergency/EMS career.  The first step for all?  EMT certification.  Here are my first thoughts about the education, and what it means to possess the knowledge instilled in you through EMT school.  Even if you aren't going into the profession, or are pursuing another avenue in emergency care, this class is a smart start, and a duty to have for all of society.  If you got a month/semester to spare, EMT certification is worth it.  If you got it, use it Baby!

While I’m healing from pneumonia, I figured I’d get up to the winter crisp of Stonyford, CA. Better on the lungs and the mind. Dived into mental health, doing the job you wanna, and getting paid appropriately. Also ranted about people who decide to punish themselves by spending 30+ years in a profession they hate. All in all, one Jagoff’s opinion on one thing and another. And the word is desensitize. If you got it, use it. You will eventually lose it, so abuse it #traumedypodcast
