Today's episode is a special one. This was the first episode of Startup Dallas that we shot in on location in front of a live audience at The DEC (Dallas Entrepreneur Center).
And what better guest to have on for this special episode than Daniel Black, CEO and Cofounder of Glass-Media, a cloud-based, on-demand in-store and storefront projection-based marketing solution for the retail industry.
100% of ticket sales went to The Dallas Entrepreneur Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit which serves entrepreneurs in the Dallas area, providing a location where they can receive training, education, mentorship, promotion and access to capital in order to encourage and equip the entrepreneurial community to start, build and grow their businesses. The DEC graciously provided the venue for this event and so much support in the production of it.
Much thanks to everyone who came out for this show and spread the word for us.
And thank you big:
Lauren Zeien and Trey Bowles for weeks of help.
Michael Drake from The Drake Studios was a huge help the night of production by lending his shooting expertise.
Raj Daniels spread the word far and wide to his many, many contacts in the community.
Launch DFW posted a great write up for us and will soon start broadcasting our episodes through their site and beyond! Look out for that, indeed.
Drizly, a quickly expanding national alcohol-delivery service, helped sponsor the event with some great beers for the live audience. ***Use Promo Code SUDALLAS for a special discount at drizly.com***
Our long-time sponsor, White Pants Agency helped sponsor this special episode as well, and linked us up with the great folks at Red Bull, who were wonderful enough to provide lots of product for us!
And, as always, this show was powered by Magic Production Group, specializing in live corporate events and video production, and now offering a special Startup Package of video products for new companies looking to get started with marketing videos. Details coming soon at magicproductiongroup.com.
