What We Talked About:  Her life-long journey from being raised in the segregated south to the rise of the pop duo, The Captain and Tennille, to the joyful choice to end a 39-year marriage. This is the story of courage and a willingness to choose joy even when it won’t please others around you.  

Why I Like Toni:  She’s thoughtful. It’s obvious that she cares about people and wants to give her all. She’s unassuming. She makes inspiring choices and gives a voice to those who would like to make those same choices. She is brave and was able to step out into her own at a time of life when most would have settled. She’s an example for us all.
