Ted Harvey is a former state legislator from Colorado. In 2001, Harvey was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives, representing the 43rd House District. Elected in 2006 to the Colorado Senate, he represented Senate District 30, which encompasses Northern Douglas County Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker, and Roxborough Park. In April 2019, wolf activist groups announced they will run a ballot initiative in 2020 to force the release of wolves onto Colorado public lands. Ted alongside wildlife biologists, animal experts,  is now educating the public about the facts of forced introduction of gray wolves in Colorado before the upcoming ballot voting in November of 2020.
