My Relationship With Food Almost Took My Life

The thing I love most about this sport it how it has continually transformed lives. I have lost count of the inspiring stories that I have registered so far — even on this podcast alone. Whether it's a girl who was contemplating suicide. Whether it's a girl who had a feeding disorder. Whether it's one who had an emotional breakdown. And not to mention domestic violence. These are some of the stories whose positive outcome was as a result of engaging in Bikini competition. Andreanna Calhoun story is unique too.

Andreanna is an IFBB Bikini Pro. She received her pro card at Miami Nationals in 2015. Even though she has not competed on a professional bikini stage for a while, she is utmost focused and dedicated to fitness. This was as a result of her struggle with both Anorexia and Bulimia. She recently contested in 2018 Miss Twin Peaks National Contest in Dallas, Texas.

Andreanna talks to us today about her daunting childhood and how that led her struggles with both bulimia and anorexia besides how competing saved her life. She also talks to about her tight-knit relationship with her twin sister and how they are giving back to the fitness society every single day. Finally, she will share how she has kept herself physically and mentally healthy off the state for.

Stay tuned.
