Hello friend,
Remember this state of anxiety we have when we are about to get to work and think of the things to do?
That to do list is too long for today... I canot make it, I won't be able to finish, I wish I had help, I wish I were more organized bc hat would not happen and the list goes on...
The problem resides in the fact that we are perfectionists and believe that we will find worth and value if we accomplish the max of it. But we are smart people, we know deep inside that we won't accomplish the whole to do list in this one day.
So there is a conflit between what is real and the idea of reality, right?
The clarity that we are looking for during this anxious episode of our daily life repeated probably during that given day, can be found in the simplest ways that have tremendous benefits.
Presence. Breathing. Clarity. Decision. Action.
Being fully responsible is being present and there is no effort to that. You just remind yourself of what you are effortlessly and it can never go away.
Your body needs your help to calm the nervous system who is releasing those anxiety chemicals. Breath is the most powerful and simplest way to bring yourself back in to that sate of calm.
Once the body is calm clarity adresses to you the right decisions to make for the day. Knowing what is realistic for the day an what is not.
The notion of responsibility comes from a place of power. You have the freedom to make the decision you want and take action from that place.
You will clearly see that it is YOU who decides and no one else. Isn't this powerful to you?
