Nikki Sjoden aka 2k’s is a 4th generation Colorado native and has always had a strong connection to nature. Spending time outside is her temple whether it’s hiking, outdoor mediation/yoga, skiing, snowboarding, split boarding, riding motorcycles, exploring the backcountry or simply getting off the grid, it’s where she feels most at peace and has come to realize just how important it is for her everyday well-being. Having a successful business as an insurance broker for the past 15 years has given her many incredible opportunities but deep down she’s always known that there was something more fulfilling career wise waiting for her that included her passion for helping people heal from the inside out. After spending 10 months in New Zealand in 2016 and completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training, it was time to take the first step into launching her mountain health & wellness coaching business, Empowered Awakening. This year she graduated from nutrition school and will be integrating that knowledge into her own daily life as well as with her clients and is excited to announce a big program launch coming up at the beginning of 2021.
