This is the second episode of SEASON 3 - where we'll be discussing FEMALE KILLERS! Waneta Ethel Hoyt was an American serial killer who was convicted of killing ALL 5 of her biological children. Her children kept dying from what doctors suspected to be SIDS. However, in 1985, there was a prosecutor who was working on a murder case and was advised by a forensic pathologist that there may in fact be a serial killer in his area. The forensic pathologist suspected this AFTER reading a report on SIDS and the Hoyt family (although their names were redacted). The prosecutor became the District Attorney in 1992 and tracked down the Hoyt's even without their names being disclosed in the report. This DA was the reason that Waneta was caught. In 1995, she was sentenced to 75 years in prison...15 years per child. However, she didn't end up serving her full sentence...but why?
