Recently news broke that an unidentified woman who is thought to have been a victim of the Manson Family murderers in L.A. back in 1969, was actually a free spirited Montrealer who went to California. While many publications are climbing over each other to bring out the story, it was Montreal journalist and blogger Kristian Gravenor who uncovered the story.

A retro interview with a celebrity we've recently lost. Arthur Anderson may not have been a household name, but he certainly was a household voice. Arthur, who was 93 when he passed away on April 9th in Manhattan, performed on radio as a teenager with Orson Welles' Mercury Theatre and appeared on Broadway, in films and on television. But his most endearing role was as the voice of Lucky Charms cereal's leprechaun. He was also the author of the book Let's Pretend and the Golden Age of Radio. Let's Pretend, being a major network radio show back in the day that he was a child star on. This interview originally aired in October 2004.

Stuart Nulman is on with another edition of Book Banter.  This week’s reviewed book is Out of My League: The Classic Account of an Amateur's Ordeal in Professional Baseball written by George Plimpton, (Little, Brown, $24). You can also read Stuart’s reviews in The Montreal Times

This week's opening slate is presented by Kim Fraser, Marketing VP for the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation.
