Have you considered taking a sabbatical at some point during your career as a PA (physician assistant / physician associate)? Or maybe you thought sabbaticals were only for professors and that you couldn't take one as a PA? This episode with Shayne Foley, PA-C, reviews how you can take a sabbatical (or a few!) during your career as a PA, as well as what some of the benefits of sabbaticals are. Shayne also shares all the details of the logistics of planning and executing sabbaticals! A sabbatical could be used as a tool to fight burnout, but more importantly, can help you enjoy the journey to FI (financial independence) instead of postponing enjoyment and travel until you reach FI.
