Thursday, prediction market Kalshi sued Rhode Island to prevent the state from stopping the apps operation in the Ocean State. Prediction markets are like betting but regulated differently. Following the lawsuit, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha sued both Kalshi and Polymarket for operating in the state illegally.
