Speech-Language Pathologist and First-Time mom, Karissa Splain, tells us her story of how her professional experience and education didn't quite prepare her for the difficulties she encountered with breastfeeding her baby. Like so many, her baby had oral ties and Karissa tells her story from the viewpoint of a professional that treats oral dysfunction, as well as through her faith and own lens as a mother.
