Mental Health and The Cure To Disordered Thinking 

With mental health conditions on the rise today, mental health is a topic that cannot be ignored or overlooked. Mental health refers to psychological, emotional and behavioral wellbeing. The state of our mental health informs how we feel, think, and behave. It helps us to establish how we respond to stress, makes decisions and relates to others. 

Sometimes the demand that comes about being in this sport can be stressful. Therefore, being aware of the possible triggers of mental health problems is very necessary. If you're facing such mental health challenges, acknowledging the availability of avenues to help you overcome is also very important. To help us learn more about mental health is Carolyn Lee. 

Carolyn is an IFFB Bikini Pro and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She counsels children and adults who have experienced sexual abuse. Leaping the fruit of her hard work, the 26-year-old recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her Bikini competition journey date back to 2015. Carolyn is a perfect example of "never give up." She participated in four successive competitions wherein she placed 2nd in all four before earning her IFBB pro card in NPC Nationals Miami in 2018. Carolyn delight in helping other girls achieve their Bikini dreams. 

In this episode, we will dive deep on mental health. Carolyn shares how human beings dissect thoughts, and how our way of thinking affects both our personal lives and our fitness journeys. We also discuss our mental health in season and offseason, eating disorders, and ways to overcome disordered thinking.
