Two of the last living descendants from the Great Macedonian Dynasty, Theodora, and Zoe, ruled as co-emperors over the Roman Empire. But they both are grasping at straws, as they too are old, and they do not have any children… it is these women who will ultimately choose the successor dynasty to the great Macedonian line.
