After the Asheena tribe united all of the Turks in the Eurasian Steppe, the GokTurk Empire became the largest steppe empire, and Khaganate to that point in time. They controlled the Silk Road and became immensely wealthy and powerful. But all good things come to an end. Unfortunately, the empire did not survive a transfer of power, and the once mighty empire split and descended into civil war.
