Jay was doing a little spring cleaning last week and discovered a music themed trivia game buried in a closet. “Top of the Charts” was a gift from a relative (Thanks Relative!) and Jay decided it’d be perfect for the show. We go in Round Robin fashion and much fun is had!

Nick’s head is still stuck on the NFT train and he had an idea to share with the guys for his segment this week. If music NFTs tracked anonymous playback like they track sales, the creator of the NFT could be paid an exact share of revenue generated by streaming services whenever their song is played. We discuss how that could work, dig into the spec a little bit and talk about why it could simplify streaming services accounting process…which might actually make it an idea worth considering.
