Raj Singh, Senior AV/IT Solutions Architect at USC, joins the show to discuss how leveraging IT as a platform allows USC to improve their overall service offerings. Raj talks about how cloud, software, and AVoIP technologies work together to create a seamless and frictionless experience for the end customer, while allowing scalability and integration of previously unavailable services, like classroom scheduling, UC, LMS’s, etc. We also discuss Raj’s transition from working “with” higher ed while at Extron to working “in” higher ed at the University of Southern California, and the lessons that can be gleaned.
