Gaby went from being a registered dietician and diabetes educator to practicing as a PA, and was able to double her income with this transition and additional training. She then used her background, networking, and connections, to design a balance of practicing both in clinic as a primary care and urgent PA in addition to practicing telemedicine from home as a maternal fetal medicine (MFM) PA.
Gaby is a newer mom, and feels like the balance that these two roles provide helps her to spend more time with her daughter. Her unique background helped her to add the MFM role to her primary care role, where she is able to care for diabetic patients in a variety of ways.
Gaby also hosts The Making of a Physician Assistant podcast, so be sure to check out her show as well! You can also follow and connect with her on Instagram or TikTok (@itsgabythepa), or reach out by email to [email protected]
