Paul notices pride rising in the church, and he reminds them that it is neither the one who plants nor the one who sows is anything, but God gives the increase. Paul explains the foundation he has laid for the church and not to be deceived by those claiming to be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. So let us not boast in men but of Christ.
