AN APOLOGY: Sorry I missed last week's episode. The holiday, coupled with personal stuff, conspired against me and kept me away from the studio (such as it is). To make up for it, I'm releasing two episodes this week: page 130 and 131 of Cornelius Cardew's Treatise.

BIG NEWS: After recording 292 episodes of 1esf5m, I've decided to change formats and switch from electronic music to a true-crime podcast. Each week I will read the wikipedia entry for a crime in 5 minutes. While most true-crime podcasts focus on  grizzly, sexy, and controversial murders, 1esf5m will cast gimlet eye toward the vulgar excesses and shameless crooks of mail fraud. Tune in! It will be a wild ride.

This shift in format will leave a significant portion of Cornelius Cardew's Treatise unrecorded, a bit of unfinished business and a broken promise made solely to myself. Check it out: I don't care. True crime is the way of the future, and mail fraud kicks ass.
