When you begin going to school as a child, you learn the basics. Once you learn to read, write, add and subtract, then you can pretty much take learning as far as you desire. That’s what we’ll do today as we begin a study in the wonderful book of First John. Over the course of the next several weeks, we’ll have a course on the basics of Christianity. First John is one of the best loved books in all of the Bible, and we’ll soon see why.
