David dies. But before he does, he has some last words for Solomon:

• He reminds Solomon to always follow YHWH and all of His laws
• How God was faithful to the kings even though the kings weren't faithful to Him
• David tells Solomon to enact punishments on Joab and Shimei
• David "sleeps" with his fathers
